Wedding and Baby talks to Jasper Conran
We had the privilege to be speaking with Jasper Conran today thanks to Debenhams.
Jasper Conran holds dearly the wedding dress he designed for Lady Sarah Armstrong Jones.
The gown had white draped georgette with ruched bodice reminisent of the 1940's. To date his design of this wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses is held as the most inspiring work in bridal fashion.

Jasper Conran - Yes, as the bride always make yourself look recognisable as you, you'll feel alot more comfortable...does this make sense?

W&B - Thank you. Wondered if vintage was still going to be popular for weddings in 2011?
Jasper Conran - Well I think the dress should be simple and flattering and put the detail into the accessories.

Starbucks in Silverburn is open till 9.30 at night for a possible meeting venue.
When is a good date for everyone, say middle week April ?

It give me great pleasure to let you all know that Mareike gave birth to an adorable baby girl.
From Mareike - She arrived bang on time! Our daughter Louisa Charlotte born 17 March 2010 at 5.10am. Isn't she the sweetest thing ever!

Kirstin - Fingerprint Jewellery
Our very own Kirstin hit the local press on the 4th March.
You never quite know what the jornalists are going to write, but this is an excellent piece so well done you.
I can also vouch that Kirstin's designs are fab, as we got some charms done for the Grans for Mothers Day.

A few fairs that I have been told about thanks to Kirstin -
Erskine Christmas cracker directly through Erskine last year with a girl called Cherry Marsden (cherry.marsden@erskine.org.uk) but I actually think you can book onto this and the Kibble Palace Fair through Chuffs. I did this for the two fairs this year through a woman called Annette Hammond-Chambers (nettiehc@yahoo.co.uk / 01721 752237). You apply to Chuffs and they apply to the organiser on your behalf. You just have to send a link to your website so they can view the products before recommending you. The Christmas Cracker is being held in Ingliston again on Thu 18th & Fri 19th November and the Kibble Palace Fair is on 1st & 2nd December. The list Annette sent me said applications by end of March.

It could have been busier - but was complimented on the marketing I had done and also the brides who did attend said they had seen it in loads of places. So who knows what else you can do, other than drag them in! We managed to raise £65 for the Prostate Cancer Charity Scotland, of which they have sent a lovely letter to me today. So for those involved thanks so much for all your support, it really means a lot to me. Will fill you in on the behind the scenes version when I see you all.

Accord Hospice Summer fair stalls are now available - you need to be ultra quick for this one. It's £35 a stall but is usually a good crowd attend them.

We talked last night girls about the value of Social Networking which we all know is of paramount importance for SEO and networking so thought it would be a good idea to post our links so we can become Fan, Friends or Followers!!

Well we had our meet last night in the Glynhill which was nice and cosy. Although we had a few people cancel due to illness and pregnancy - you are forgiven girls ( hope your starting to feel better), we also have 3 new members!

Great to see more baby related businesses, as I am sure that Sharon and Mindful Mums will have a lots in common, along with Elaine on the child front.
We never got the chance to speak about a mothers market or a conference - but we can do this by email.
